Q. How does this unicorn water slide work, and what makes it different?
-
You climb the enclosed tower stairs, drop into the curved chute, and splash into a shallow landing pool at the bottom. The bold rainbow unicorn makes it the photo centerpiece of the party. It runs wet for summer or completely dry for a cooler day or indoor venue, so you get one slide that works year round.
Q. Do you deliver this unicorn slide across Dallas-Fort Worth?
-
Yes. We deliver, set up, and collect across the Metroplex, including [Plano](/dallas/water-slides-in-plano-tx), [Arlington](/dallas/water-slides-in-arlington), [Irving](/dallas/water-slides-in-irving), and [Fort Worth](/dallas/water-slides-in-fort-worth), plus Frisco. Tell us your zip and event date and we will confirm availability fast, and preview the fit first with View in My Yard.
Q. What if it rains, and what is your deposit and cancellation policy?
-
A 50% deposit holds your date, with the balance due on event day. North Texas storms pop up fast, so if weather threatens, call before our crew arrives and we reschedule, turning your payment into store credit that never expires. Light rain is fine on a wet slide, but we always pause for lightning or high wind. Cancellations become store credit, never a cash refund.
Q. How wet does it get, and will it spike my water bill?
-
You connect a standard garden hose and we position it for a light, continuous trickle down the lane, not a flood, so a typical party adds only a few dollars. Have towels and swimsuits ready, because riders splash into the pool and climb right back up.
Q. What ages is it best for, and can adults ride?
-
It is sized for the toddler-to-tween crowd, roughly ages 3 to 12, which covers most unicorn party guest lists. Little ones use the easy-climb steps with an adult spotting. Adults under 250 pounds can ride too. For taller, faster thrill slides see our [adult water slides](/dallas/adult-water-slides).
Q. Is there a pool at the bottom, and how deep is it?
-
Yes. The chute lands in a built-in splash pool holding just a few inches of water, enough to slow riders to a soft, giggly stop. It is the part kids race back up the tower for. Keep an adult at the splash end and send one rider down at a time.
Q. How big is it and how much yard space do I need?
-
It stands 15ft tall and needs about 28ft long by 13ft wide with 15ft of overhead clearance, on a fairly flat surface. You also need a clear path through a 36in gate. Use View in My Yard to preview the exact slide placed in your space before you book.
Q. Can I run it dry instead of wet?
-
Yes. Skip the hose and we set it up dry with a safety mat at the bottom, which is great for a spring birthday, an indoor venue, or a cooler day. You choose dry or wet when you book and our crew sets it up the way you want to run it.
Q. What is the difference between this and a bounce house combo?
-
This is a dedicated water slide built around the climb-and-splash thrill, with no bounce floor. A combo adds a jumping area and games in one unit, and a moonwalk is purely for bouncing. If you want both bouncing and sliding, ask us to pair this with a unicorn bounce house in one booking.
Q. What do you need on setup day, and do you offer generators?
-
We need a fairly flat area, a 110V grounded outlet within about 50ft for the blower, and a garden hose with water if you are running it wet. No outdoor power, like at a park, is no problem, just add a generator to your order. Clear the space of sharp objects and pet mess before our crew arrives.
Q. How many kids can ride at once?
-
One rider goes down the chute at a time for safety while others climb the tower or wait their turn, so the line keeps moving. It stays busy with a birthday-size group all afternoon. The recommended capacity for the climb area is listed on the product page.
