Dunk Tank

A dunk tank is a water attraction that involves a person sitting on a trigger-operated seat above a tank of water. Players throw balls at a target to dunk the seated person into the water.

Always have an adult supervise the dunk tank operation. Ensure the area around the tank is clear to prevent accidents. Only individuals who meet our safety criteria (over 5 feet tall and under 250 pounds) should use the tank. Follow all provided safety instructions to ensure a fun and safe experience.

Customers are required to provide a hose with access to an active water source. The location of the dunk tank setup should be within a reasonable distance from this water source to ensure efficient filling.

It typically takes about 30 minutes to fill the dunk tank with 350 gallons of water, assuming the water pressure is standard and the hose is directly connected to the source without any extensions.

Ensure that the water source is reliable with adequate pressure to fill 350 gallons. Check that the hose is long enough to reach the dunk tank's location and that there are no kinks or leaks in the hose that could impede water flow.

The dunk tank should be placed on a flat, stable surface away from electricity and high traffic areas. It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor settings, provided that the space meets safety requirements.

A thrower aims one of the three included balls at the colorful target. A solid, direct hit on the bullseye trips the release and drops the seat, sending the rider into the 500 gallons of water below. It resets in seconds, so the next person climbs up and the line keeps moving all day.

Three throwing balls are included, which is plenty to keep a line moving since they reset fast. For a fundraiser or carnival you can sell throws by the ball, just retrieve them from the splash area and pass them back to the next person in line.

You stay in full control. Cancel or reschedule for any reason up until the moment our truck pulls up, and your entire payment is saved as store credit that never expires for whenever you rebook. After we deliver and set up, if you decide to go ahead and the weather turns, the rental stands as paid, since the unit is already out and we still have to return, collect, and clean it. So make the call before we arrive.

The tank fills on site from a standard garden hose, so have a spigot within reach of the setup spot. In summer heat the water warms quickly and a cool dunk is the whole point. For a cooler-weather event, run warm water from the hose if you can while filling.

Yes. The seat supports riders up to 250 lbs, so teens, parents, teachers, coaches, and the boss can all take a turn. It is the same 250 lb limit as our [adult water slides](/water-slides-for-adults), so the grown-ups are fair game for the dunk.

Riders in the seat go up to 250 lbs, so older kids, teens, and adults. Younger kids ages 5 and up love being the throwers aiming for the target. For ages 2 to 4, pair it with a toddler-friendly bounce house so the little ones have their own fun.

It is one of our best. A dunk tank draws a crowd and raises money fast when you sell throws to soak the principal, coach, or boss. We are fully insured and state-inspected, keep a certificate of insurance ready, and for school districts we set up by 8am and collect by 3pm.

We take a 50% deposit to lock your date, or 25% on orders over $1,000, with the balance due before your event. Your date is not held until the deposit is placed. If you cancel, your payment converts to store credit that never expires; we do not issue cash refunds.
