  • For an additional fee, Sky High supplies water barrels that will keep your tent secure on concrete and hard surfaces. Please keep in mind that in order for the barrels to effectively secure your tent, your location must be able to provide a source of water also.

  • The types of tents available for rental typically include pole tents, which are supported by poles and are ideal for larger events; frame tents, which have no center poles and offer a clear span of space; canopy tents, perfect for small gatherings or daytime events; and clear top tents, which provide a unique aesthetic by allowing guests to view the sky.

Q. How do I choose the right size tent for my event?

  • Choosing the right size tent depends on the number of guests, the type of event, and the space required for other elements like dance floors, tables, and chairs. A general rule is to allow 10-12 square feet of space per person for banquet-style seating and 15-20 square feet per person for cocktail-style events.

  • At least 5' of space surrounding the perimeter of the tent is required (Although 10' is recommended). We recommend that you perform all area measurements before the day of your event.

  • You can use a 10x10 tent if you just need a place for shade while cars pass by. Another option is to use a 20 x 20 tent or bigger with our 10ft poles.

  • It's advisable to book a tent rental as soon as you have your event details finalized, especially during peak seasons like summer or early fall. For large events or specific tent types, booking several months in advance may be necessary.
