Q. What are the general rules for operating a dunk tank?
-
A dunk tank is a water attraction that involves a person sitting on a trigger-operated seat above a tank of water. Players throw balls at a target to dunk the seated person into the water.
Q. How does delivery work for dunk tank rentals in Dallas and Fort Worth?
-
We provide timely and efficient delivery of dunk tanks to any location within a 2-hour drive from Dallas or Forth Worth. Setup and breakdown are handled by our trained staff to ensure that your event goes smoothly.
Q. What do I need to provide for the dunk tank setup regarding water?
-
Customers are required to provide a hose with access to an active water source. The location of the dunk tank setup should be within a reasonable distance from this water source to ensure efficient filling.
Q. How long does it take to fill up the dunk tank?
-
It typically takes about 30 minutes to fill the dunk tank with 350 gallons of water, assuming the water pressure is standard and the hose is directly connected to the source without any extensions.
Q. What should I consider regarding the water source for a dunk tank at my event?
-
Ensure that the water source is reliable with adequate pressure to fill 350 gallons. Check that the hose is long enough to reach the dunk tank's location and that there are no kinks or leaks in the hose that could impede water flow.
Q. Are there any restrictions on where I can set up a dunk tank?
-
The dunk tank should be placed on a flat, stable surface away from electricity and high traffic areas. It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor settings, provided that the space meets safety requirements.
Q. Can I book a dunk tank for the same day in Dallas or Fort Worth?
-
Yes, same-day bookings are available! However, we recommend booking in advance to ensure availability, especially during busy seasons or weekends.
Q. What safety measures should be observed when using a dunk tank?
-
Always have an adult supervise the dunk tank operation. Ensure the area around the tank is clear to prevent accidents. Only individuals who meet our safety criteria (over 5 feet tall and under 250 pounds) should use the tank. Follow all provided safety instructions to ensure a fun and safe experience.
Q. How does the dunk mechanism work?
-
A thrower aims one of the three included balls at the colorful target. A solid, direct hit on the bullseye trips the release and drops the seat, sending the rider into the 500 gallons of water below. It resets in seconds, so the next person climbs up and the line keeps moving all day.
Q. How many balls come with it, and can I buy more throws?
-
Three throwing balls are included, which is plenty to keep a line moving since they reset fast. For a fundraiser or carnival you can sell throws by the ball, just retrieve them from the splash area and pass them back to the next person in line.
Q. What is your Weather Guarantee?
-
Flexible by design. Right up until our crew arrives you can keep your date, push it, or cancel for any reason, with your full payment held as store credit that never expires. After delivery and setup, the call to run the party is yours, and if the weather turns the rental is non-refundable, because the unit is already out and we still have to return to pick it up and clean it. So watch the sky and decide before we get there.
Q. Who fills the tank, and does the water get cold?
-
The tank fills on site from a standard garden hose, so have a spigot within reach of the setup spot. In Texas heat the water warms quickly and a cool dunk is the whole point. For a cooler-weather event, run warm water from the hose if you can while filling.
Q. Can adults and bigger kids actually get in the seat?
-
Yes. The seat supports riders up to 250 lbs, so teens, parents, teachers, coaches, and the boss can all take a turn. It is the same 250 lb limit as our [Arlington water slide](/dallas/water-slides-in-arlington) lineup, so the grown-ups are fair game for the dunk.
Q. What ages is the dunk tank good for?
-
Riders in the seat go up to 250 lbs, so older kids, teens, and adults. Younger kids ages 5 and up love being the throwers aiming for the target. For ages 2 to 4, pair it with a toddler-friendly bounce house so the little ones have their own fun.
Q. Is it a good fit for fundraisers, school carnivals, and company picnics?
-
It is one of our best, across Dallas ISD, Plano ISD, and the surrounding districts. A dunk tank draws a crowd and raises money fast when you sell throws to soak the principal, coach, or boss. We are fully insured and state-inspected, keep a certificate of insurance ready, and for school districts we set up by 8am and collect by 3pm.
Q. How much space do I need, and can I see it in my yard first?
-
Plan for roughly an 8 by 8 foot footprint plus standing room for throwers, and about 8 feet of height. Use View in My Yard to preview the exact size in your space before you book, whether you are in Frisco, Irving, or central Dallas.
Q. What surface and setup does it need?
-
A flat, mostly level surface, a garden-hose water source within reach to fill the tank, and a clear path to move the unit in. Tell us your surface type, grass, concrete, or turf, when you book so we bring the right anchoring.
Q. Do you deliver a dunk tank to Dallas and Fort Worth?
-
Yes. We deliver and set up across the Metroplex, including Dallas, Fort Worth, Plano, Arlington, Irving, and Frisco. Browse our full [Dallas carnival games](/dallas/carnivals-games-events) and cool the crowd with a [Plano water slide](/dallas/water-slides-in-plano-tx) or an [Arlington water slide](/dallas/water-slides-in-arlington).
